Congratulations! You've made it to Week 2!
If you stuck to removing technology from your bedroom last week, then hopefully you're feeling less glued to your phone, laptops and TV's and are ready for another challenge!
Our week two challenge involves picking up the pace this week and committing to 30 minutes of exercise a day! An exercise plan doesn't need to be vigorous, it just needs to be consistent to see improvements in your sleep quality and your energy levels!
THE CHALLENGE
Complete 30 minutes of light to moderate exercise every day.
What's your exercise style:

I am mostly a walker, though I do like to throw a run in every now and then. I usually exercise more efficiently in the afternoon as my body takes a while to get going in the morning.

I am a team-sports person. I often go to walks and runs with friends but find if I am exercising on my own it's with music so I can chill out or distress. So I am a mixture of everything.

Exercise is not my strong point with 4 children and working nights its not easy to find spare time. I guess I'm going to have to find sometime in the afternoon to go for a walk ? maybe lol

Getting physical won't be a problem alternate yoga and pilates on a daily basis for around an hour so easy week this week. I did really struggle with the tech side of things as I love to fall asleep watching tv, getting a handle on it and already noticing a difference in my sleep quality.

My sleep is at an all time low - cannot get to sleep and when I do, I cannot stay asleep. I followed week 1's advice and stopped reading in bed - no technology! This hasn't made a difference so far yet.. I will continue on with this and add to that this weeks recommendations to start exercising. I suffer hugely from the '3pm slump', though for me this is at 2/2:30pm, to the point where I almost feel narcoleptic or like I might collapse from tiredness. Then, as the article states, I then feel wakeful come night time when it is time for bed.
I am very unfit so am going to start with walking and swimming, probably in the afternoons because mornings are the only sleep I really get after finally falling asleep around 3 - 4am.

5km run first thing in the morning and then a 3- 5 k walk in the evening after dinner. It's a great way to start the day and thinking time in the evening

I love my fitbit - I make sure I get to do 10 000 steps a day.

Easy done!! I already walk every afternoon around that time, but I will make the effort to jog instead this week
